Report: Spurs set to tell striker to find new club

Tottenham Hotspur have a number of talented attackers in their academy, all bidding to follow in the footsteps of England captain Harry Kane.

The likes of Jack Roles, Troy Parrott, and Kazaiah Sterling have all impressed and will surely be on the radar of Pochettino for next season.

However, one youngster who may not be around in the 2019/10 campaign is Shayon Harrison, as Football Insider report that the striker will be told to find a new club by Tottenham.

Harrison is currently on loan at Melbourne City in Australia, but his Spurs contract comes to an end in the summer.

If the report is to be believed, Harrison will not be offered a new deal, and Spurs will inform him of such within the next few weeks.

The young striker has scored four goals in his last six matches in the A-League, as well as 26 goals from 50 games in the Tottenham under 23s.

However, it looks as if Harrison will not be adding to his one senior appearance for Spurs, which came in a League Cup defeat to Liverpool.

Spurs Web Opinion:

Much has been said about Harrison over the last few years, but the youngster has never seemed able to break into the fringes of the first team as Walker-Peters, Skipp, Amos, Marsh, and countless others have done. With players like Sterling, Parrott, and Roles hopefully coming through, perhaps it is time to let Harrison go and pursue his career elsewhere.
