Report: Spurs set to up their bids for these two big-money signings

Tottenham Hotspur came up short in the Champions League final against Liverpool on Saturday, and reports now suggest that the club will be taking steps to strengthen their squad.

Spurs now find themselves in a similar position to Liverpool last season after losing the CL Final, and must now decide whether to invest and push like the Reds or sink back into the pack with a whimper.

The Mirror reports that Poch will be backed by Spurs this summer, with Levy keen to prove that he wants the Argentine to stay at the club long-term.

The report suggests that although bids for Tanguy Ndombele and Lo Celso have apparently been turned down, Poch will be given money in an attempt to sign both, along with Maxi Gomez and Ryan Sessegnon.

This would significantly strengthen Tottenham’s squad and starting XI for the new season, after they have gone over 16 months without bringing in any new players.

Spurs Web Opinion:

If Spurs pulled off these three signings, while cutting out the deadwood around the squad, bringing through a couple of youngsters, and making a few squad depth signings, I honestly think they could challenge for big things next season. It is now or never, Levy.
