Report: How much it could cost Man Utd to land Mauricio Pochettino

A report from the Sun claims that Tottenham Hotspur have slapped a £32 million price tag on Mauricio Pochettino’s head amid potential interest from Manchester United.

The report states that Spurs would only part with the Argentine for £32m, due to the fact that his contract contains no release clause and still has just under four years left to run.

This comes after both clubs have endured a rather poor start to the new season, each struggling in the Premier League and League Cup.

Both Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Pochettino have won just two Premier League games so far this season, far from the form of a top-four side.

An Express report claims that Man United have approached Pochettino twice before, once when van Gaal was sacked and again after Mourinho left in December 2018.

The Sun report claims that United are of the opinion that Pochettino wants to leave the North London club but the relationship between Spurs and United is rocky, partly due to the previous sales of Michael Carrick, Dimitar Berbatov, and Teddy Sheringham.
