Report: Spurs spotted scouting two games in two days over in Portugal

Tottenham Hotspur already appear to be on the lookout for talents to invest in over the next couple of transfer windows after breaking their signing record last summer.

Tanguy Ndombele came into North London, along with Ryan Sessegnon, Jack Clarke, and Giovani Lo Celso on loan from Real Betis.

O Jogo now report that Tottenham seem to be keen on Portugal as their next hunting ground, as they scouted two high-profile games in as many days this week.

Spurs scouts first attended the Benfica vs Lyon match in the Champions League, before visiting Porto vs Rangers in the Europa on Thursday night.

It is not reported who Spurs were watching at either game, but Sport Witness highlight Agustin Marchesin, Pepe, Luis Diaz, and Alfredo Morellos as shining stars in the second match.

The Porto game also appeared to be popular among a number of European clubs, with Saint Étienne, Rennes, Monaco, Nice, Bordeaux, Manchester United, Crystal Palace, Everton, Atalanta, SPAL, Celta Vigo, Betis, Eintracht Frankfurt and Schalke 04 also in attendance.
