Report: Spurs star believes his ‘cycle has ended’ at the club

According to a report by Spanish news outlet Sport (as relayed by Sport Witness), Harry Kane is ready to leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer since the striker believes his cycle at the club has ended.

The Sun also suggested something quite similar, claiming that Kane has accepted that he is likely to stay at Tottenham despite his desire to compete for the biggest trophies in the game.

Journalist Ian McGarry revealed last week that Barcelona had also made contact with Spurs over the England captain’s availability.

Sport claim that Kane has made his mind up to leave and that the North Londoners would prefer to sell him to Barcelona rather than to a domestic rival.

The report states that the Catalans have earmarked the Tottenham star as a possible alternative to Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martínez and Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland.

Given the state of Real Madrid’s and Barcelona’s finances, neither club can afford to pay over £150m for Kane this summer. If Levy refuses to sell the 27-year-old to a domestic rival, the striker is unlikely to have any other option left for a potential summer transfer.
