Tottenham Hotspur club record signing Tanguy Ndombele has reportedly told Jose Mourinho that he no longer wants to play under the Portuguese.

Telefoot claim that the 23-year-old met with Mourinho and informed the head coach of his intentions.

It is said that a number of Spurs players have tried to act as mediators and have highlighted Ndombele’s improved performances in training but have been unable to improve the situation with the relationship between the pair described as being broken.

Ndombele has found himself on the bench for both of Tottenham’s matches following the resumption of the Premier League campaign but has not tasted any game time.

The French international was spotted training with Mourinho during lockdown at Hadley Common but has opted against utilising the services of the former Lyon man (Guardian).

Ndombele came in for heavy criticism from Mourinho before the coronavirus pandemic hit for his lethargic display in the 1-1 draw at Burnley back in March (BBC).

  1. Personally I think Harry Kane is the most underrated striker in world football. He plays in one of the toughest leagues in the world and despite his considerably young age has achieved amazing stats. All this at a team – let’s be realistic here, who are at best around the 5th – 7th place finishers in the league. All this despite their great run to the Champions League final runner-up finish under Mauricio Pochettino. In a top 2 team in any league in the world his numbers would reveal who Harry Kane really is and what he is truly capable of.
