Report: Spurs midfielder yet to make decision over his future

There has been a lot of speculation regarding Tanguy Ndombele’s future over the past two days after the midfielder was spotted training publically with Jose Mourinho last week.

L’Equipe reported on Saturday that the public training fiasco had done little to help Ndombele’s already strained relationship with Jose Mourinho.

It was asserted that the 23-year-old was considering his future at the club and could be tempted to join Barcelona if the Catalans follow through with their interest.

Spanish publication Sport (as relayed by Sport Witness) have now provided an update on the transfer by revealing that Barcelona like the Spurs star’s profile ‘very much’.

It is claimed that the presence of French players at the club could convince the midfielder to make the move to the La Liga giants.

However, it is also said that Ndombele is yet to make any decision regarding his future since the details of the next transfer window are unknown as of yet.

Spurs Web Opinion

Given how little news there is in the footballing world at the moment, it was inevitable that speculation regarding Ndombele’s future would go into hyperdrive after the public training fiasco last week. If the Frenchman does push to leave, Daniel Levy will want to recoup the money the club paid for him a year ago and I just cannot see Barcelona or any other club being able to afford that in the current climate.
