Quotidiano Sportivo have become the latest Italian publication to talk up Lazio’s chances of landing Bryan Gil, with the outlet explaining that Tottenham are quite flexible in their demands for the winger.
Lazio’s interest in Gil came to light a couple of days ago when the print edition of Corriere dello Sport (as relayed by Sport Witness) explained that Maurizio Sarri is extremely keen on taking the Tottenham man to the Stadio Olimpico.
The report said that the former Chelsea boss is ‘convinced’ he can get the best out of the 22-year-old, with the Serie A side said to be of the belief that the silky left-footer is a ‘talent waiting for the right opportunity’.

Quotidiano Sportivo have now made quite a similar claim, explaining that Lazio want to strengthen their attack and that the the Spain international is one of the ‘hottest names’ on their radar.
The report says that the Italian club’s pursuit of a loan deal for Gil is very much ‘alive’, with the Biancocelesti also wanting to include an option to buy. Tottenham are said to be open to such a proposal since the player is not in Ange Postecoglou’s plans.
The publication adds that the Spurs winger and former Aston Villa star Anwar El Ghazi are the ‘main targets’ for Lazio, with the club expected to decide between the two shortly.

I would not be surprised if there are a few more twists and turns in the Gil saga over the next week as a lot of clubs are likely keeping an eye on the winger’s situation, particularly with Tottenham willing to let him leave on loan.
