Report: Spurs submit second bid for teenage star

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly submitted a second bid for Leeds United starlet Jack Clarke, in an attempt to lure him to North London this summer.

Football Insider claim that the second bid is worth £8m, after an initial offer was turned down by Leeds.

Pochettino is said to be very keen on the young winger as he looks to increase his homegrown player pool ahead of next season.

However, Leeds are said to want an offer of £20m for Clarke if they are going to let him leave the club this summer.

Contrasting to this Football Insider report, the Daily Mail claimed that back in May, Spurs tabled an opening bid of £10m for Clarke.

The 18-year-old was voted the club’s Young Player of the Season for the 2018/19 campaign, despite only claiming his first start back in January.

It is unclear whether Spurs have made a bid, and what value this bid may have been, but one consistent story seems to be that Tottenham are determined to get their man.
