Report: Spurs tipped to recall this on-loan talent in January

Tottenham Hotspur have been tipped to recall Jack Clarke from his loan nightmare at Leeds United when the January transfer window opens (The Athletic).

Jack Clarke signed for Spurs in the summer, breaking a near 18-month transfer drought for the North London club, before going straight back out on loan to his boyhood club.

So far this season, Clarke has played just 115 minutes of first-team football, all of which came in the EFL Cup. Clarke has yet to feature for a single second in the Championship.

However, while he went six games in a row without even being in the matchday squad earlier in the season, he has at least made the bench for the last eight games (Transfer Markt).

Clarke and Spurs would have been hoping that the youngster would have been handed more of a chance to impress and progress this season, especially after how he finished the 2018/19 campaign.

Jack played 22 Championship games last season, racking up 791 minutes on the pitch, scoring two goals and assisting two more (Transfer Markt).
