Report: Spurs to make manager appointment next week from three-man shortlist

Football Insider have reported that Tottenham will appoint their new head coach next week, just days after the end of the 2020/21 season.

Jose Mourinho was sacked by Daniel Levy and the Spurs board back in late April and the decision was made to wait when it came to appointing his successor.

While the club searched for a new permanent boss, Ryan Mason was handed the interim head coach role until the end of the season.

With just one match away to Leicester City to go for Tottenham this year, the time has finally come for a new head coach to be selected.

Football Insider claim that the Lilywhites have now narrowed down their search to three main candidates after a series of interviews and talks.

It is said that Tottenham went into the search with a wide range of managers in mind from the Premier League and overseas, but a shortlist has now been finalised.
