Tottenham will not be bringing Ajax striker Danilo Pereira da Silva to North London with the youngster reportedly having agreed to a loan deal with FC Twente.
According to Tubantia, the Brazilian will now be staying in Holland after agreeing to join fellow Eredivisie side on a season-long loan deal.
The 21-year-old has made three senior appearances Dutch giants (Transfermarkt).
Spurs were linked with the striker earlier this month by CalcioNapoli24 with just £5million said to have been good enough to secure his services.
However, the youngster will not join a long list of players to leave Ajax for Spurs as he reportedly believes life under Jose Mourinho will not benefit his development.
Spurs Web Opinion
With only a handful of senior appearances under his belt, it probably is not the right move for either party. We need a striker who will be able to act as back-up to Harry Kane but who also has the experience to come on and make a difference.
