Report: Spurs to table official bid for £60m-rated playmaker this summer

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly readying an official bid for Sporting Lisbon attacking midfielder, Bruno Fernandes this summer (Metro).

Manchester United are also said to be planning a bid for the playmaker in the coming weeks, with the player’s agent in the UK to hold talks with potential suitors.

Liverpool are also said to be keen on the player but are not tipped to make a bid at this moment in time.

Sporting Lisbon are said to want a whopping £60m for the player this summer, but are yet to receive any official offers.

Spurs could be in the market for a new playmaker this summer if Christian Eriksen moves away from the club.

Eriksen has just one year left on his current deal in North London and has already made it clear that he wants a step up and a new challenge next season (Ekstra Bladet).

Could Bruno Fernandes be the man to replace him?

Spurs Web Opinion:

I would rather bid for a number of other players, including Giovani Lo Celso and Donny van de Beek. However, my favoured move would be a loan deal for Dani Ceballos with an option to buy for next summer.
