Report: Spurs transfer developments expected in the coming days after agent contacts

Aksam have suggested that a potential move to Turkey could be on the cards for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg this summer, with the Tottenham star’s agent thought to have spoken to Super Lig clubs.

The report says that Hojbjerg is surely leaving Spurs at the end of the season and there has now been a ‘flash development’ in the 28-year-old’s case.

The outlet claims that the Denmark international could now be ‘on the road’ for a move to Turkey after his agent got in touch with the clubs in the Eastern European nation, even travelling to the country for talks.

Could Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg move to Turkey?

Askam explained that Hojbjerg was of interest to Super Lig clubs last summer as well but the Spurs man turned down the chance to move to Turkey at the time.

However, the publication adds that the chance of a transfer is now much higher, with developments on the midfielder’s future expected in the coming days.

Meanwhile, reports from Italy have continued to indicate over the last few weeks that Juventus remain keen on securing Hojbjerg’s services (Tuttosport).

Spurs Web Opinion

Hojbjerg is not going to have any shortage of offers this summer, with the likes of Juve and Atletico Madrid likely to be after him. I do not think he would consider moving to Turkey at this stage of his career.
