Report: Spurs ‘very attentive’ on winger who scored 21 times last season

The wide-forward has had an injury-hit 2022-23 campaign so far, with just seven goal contributions to his name but it is said that he remains ‘coveted’ by a number of Premier League clubs.

Jeunes Footeux state that Spurs, Fulham, Brighton and Manchester United are all ‘very attentive’ to Karlsson’s situation at the moment and are exploring potential moves for the player while PSV Eindhoven are also ‘very interested’.

It is claimed that Man Utd are particularly keen, with the Red Devils even considering making an offer for the 24-year-old during the current transfer window.

The report claims that Alkmaar would be unwilling to sell the Swedish international for less than €20m (£17.5m).

Spurs Web Opinion

Karlsson has not been able to hit the same heights this season as he did last campaign, which potentially suggests that he could be a one-season wonder. We have seen other forwards like Afonso Alves and Vincent Janssen have blinding seasons in the Eredivisie in the past but struggle to make any sort of impact in the Premier League.
