The winger, who can play on either flank, was an unused substitute in the FA Cup tie against Portsmouth back in January and was also part of the match-day squad for the recent win against Nottingham Forest.

The 19-year-old has also operated as a right wing-back on occasions, which might be why Cristian Stellini called him up to first-team training recently, given the injuries to Ben Davies and Emerson Royal.

Football.London reveal that Spurs rate Mundle highly, which is why they are keen to extend the youngster’s contract, which runs out this summer.

The North London club have reportedly begun talks with the player’s camp regarding a new deal but it is explained that the teenager is also the subject of interest from other Premier League clubs.

Spurs Web Opinion

We have lost quite a few talented young players from the academy over recent years in the form of Dilan Markanday, Marcus Edwards, Noni Madueke and others.

We cannot afford to continue doing so, which is one of the reasons why the club need to bring in a manager who is willing to promote youth to the first team.
