The Evening Standard have revealed that Tottenham Hotspur are keen on overhauling their squad this summer.
Spurs are currently on the lookout for a new head coach to replace Antonio Conte and the club’s rumoured pursuit of Julian Nagelsmann has been boosted over the last 48 hours.
Reports from Germany are now indicating that the recently departed Bayern Munich boss is tempted to accept the Tottenham job after he ended talks with Chelsea (SportBild).
It is not just a new head coach that Spurs are after but the club are reportedly also on the lookout for a new director of football following Fabio Paratici’s departure (Daily Mail).
If The Evening Standard’s latest update is to be believed, the North Londoners have to sort out those appointments quickly as they have big things on their agenda this summer.
The publication states that the club are ‘preparing for an overhaul of the squad’ during the upcoming transfer window after the team failed to live up to expectations this season.
The report asserts that Tottenham are also attempting to convince Harry Kane to commit his future to the club.

It does appear as if the club might move to appoint a head coach first before finding a replacement for Fabio Paratici.
While that is not the ideal order to do things, the fact that we now have Scott Munn to oversee both appointments would perhaps ensure that there is a clearly defined strategy behind the decisions.
