Report: Spurs will ask out-of-favour player to find himself a new team this summer

According to a report in DAMGA, Tanguy Ndombele’s representatives are expected to be told by Tottenham that the player is free to find a new club this summer.

While Ndombele at least showed some glimpses of quality during his loan spell at Napoli last season, the midfielder has had a horror show at Galatasaray this campaign, having barely featured for the Turkish side.

Unsurprisingly, various sources have claimed over recent weeks that the Istanbul club will not take up the €15m (£12.8m) option to buy the Frenchman this summer and that the player will return to Spurs at the end of his loan spell (Sporx).

Last week, Takvim even asserted that Tottenham would be prepared to sell the 27-year-old for a cut-price fee of just €5m (£4.2m).

Ndombele will be asked to leave Spurs again

It has now been said by DAMGA that the midfielder’s entourage will be told by the Lilywhties hierarchy that he can leave Hotspur Way this summer.

The outlet asserts that Tottenham have decided to permanently end Ndombele’s five-year stay at the club and will soon inform the player that ‘he needs to find a team’ for himself.

The report adds that Galatasaray would not be interested in signing the former Lyon man even if Spurs offered him to the club for a bargain.

Spurs Web Opinion

The Ndombele signing has proven to be the worst deal in Tottenham’s history. When looking at the midfielder’s career trajectory even before this move to Spurs, it is clear that a lack of desire and professionalism was an issue.

It is hard to argue that the Lilywhites did not see the risk, with the transfer reeking of a lack of adequate research into the player’s personality and attitude. As a result, Spurs have lost out on over £100m in transfer fees and wages over five years.
