Report: Spurs will listen to offers for three other senior players

The Independent have revealed that three more senior stars could leave Tottenham Hotspur before the January transfer window closes, with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Ryan Sessegnon and Bryan Gil in the shop window.

Ivan Perisic became the latest player to exit Hotspur Way on Friday, with the Croat joining his boyhood club Hajduk Split on loan for the rest of the season. With the 34-year-old’s deal with Spurs running out in the summer, the move will bring an end to his stay in North London.

Earlier in the window, two of Tottenham’s longest-serving players, Hugo Lloris and Eric Dier, departed for Los Angeles FC and Bayern Munich respectively.

There have also been several loan exits, with Djed Spence, Japhet Tanganga, Sergio Reguilon and Alfie Devine being recalled and finding new homes while Ashley Phillips has completed a temporary move to Port Vale.

More exits are on the cards at Tottenham Hotspur

The Independent have now claimed that three more senior stars have been given the green light to exit Spurs before the end of the month.

The report says that Ange Postecoglou’s men are now listening to offers for Hojbjerg, Sessegnon and Gil, with the club open to offloading all three players.

The outlet does not specify if the Premier League side would prefer to loan out Gil and Sessegnon or if they would prefer a permanent sale.

Spurs Web Opinion

I suspect Spurs would prefer Sessegnon to leave on loan so that he can get some regular football under his belt and bump up his market value ahead of next summer.

While it is clear that Tottenham want either a permanent sale or a loan with an obligation to buy for Hojbjerg, it remains to be seen what transpires regarding Gil.
