Report: Spurs will move for these two stars if Eriksen and Rose leave

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino warned before the summer that the club might need to undergo a painful rebuild this transfer window (Evening Standard), and that is exactly what seems to be happening.

Christian Eriksen has made his intention to join Real Madrid public (Ekstra Bladet), and recent reports indicate that the Dane’s family are house hunting in the Spanish capital (Fyens Stiftstidende).

Another first team regular who might be on his way out this summer is Danny Rose, with the England international recently casting doubts over whether he will still be at the club next season (Sky Sports).

A report in The Times suggests that Spurs have identified their replacements for both Eriksen and Rose should they leave the club.

It is claimed that the Lilywhites will move for Real Betis midfielder Giovani Lo Celso and Everton defender Lucas Digne if the pair are to depart.

It is also suggested that the club will not move for either Lo Celso and Digne if either respective Spurs player should remain at the club.

Spurs Web Opinion

This is what most Spurs fans would have suspected anyway as the club is unlikely to have too much money to throw around after smashing their transfer record for Ndombele. However, the club can certainly fund moves for the likes of Ryan Sessegnon and Jack Clarke by selling some fringe players.
