Report: Spurs will not force player out despite making his situation clear

The vast majority of Tottenham Hotspur fans were left disappointed when the club confirmed that they had left Danny Rose out of their squad for the pre-season tour of the Far East (Spurs official).

Rose was one of Tottenham’s most impressive performers last season which his marauding runs into the final third of the pitch backed up by his solid defensive style of play.

The 29-year-old admitted early last month that he was unsure of his future in North London and claimed that it is typically the club’s policy to sell older players (BBC).

Despite his omission from the pre-season matches against Juventus and Manchester United, The Telegraph claim that Rose will not be forced out of Tottenham this summer.

The report claims that the England international does not currently have a potential move lined up, but if he does depart he is most likely to head to the continent in a deal worth around £20million.

Rose is already preparing to be at Tottenham for the start of the season and is ensuring that he maintains his levels of fitness to be ready to play if called upon by Mauricio Pochettino.
