Report: Spurs willing to sell these four first-team players to raise transfer funds

According to a report from The Times, Tottenham Hotspur may be willing to listen to offers for four of their first-team players in order to fund moves for various targets this summer.

While it would not come as much of a surprise to Spurs fans to see that Danny Rose and Kyle Walker-Peters are two of the four names in the list, the remaining duo may raise a few eyebrows.

The report reveals that Spurs are also willing to offload both Eric Dier and Serge Aurier when the transfer market opens.

Aurier is the only recognised right-back at Spurs at present and has enjoyed an upturn in form since Jose Mourinho arrived at the club.

Dier, like Aurier, has played regularly since Mourinho arrived at Spurs but recently went public with his intention to play at centre-back instead of defensive midfield (Evening Standard).

The 26-year-old has only a year left on his contract with Spurs but it was recently claimed by Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano that the North Londoners are in talks with the England international over a new deal.

It is clear that Danny Rose and Walker-Peters are both likely to be on their way out along with Juan Foyth. However, I would be extremely surprised if either Dier or Aurier were sold unless the club get an opportunity to complete a swap deal that is too good to refuse.
