Report: Spurs yet to decide on loan deal for teenage pair, winger most likely to leave

According to The Athletic’s Charlie Eccleshare, Tottenham Hotspur are yet to decided whether to send Harvey White and Dennis Cirkin out on loan during the current transfer window, with Jack Clarke looking the most likely fringe player to head out of the door.

Cirkin is yet to make his first-team debut for Spurs but reports indicate that the left-back is thought of very highly at the club and it is only a matter of time before he is handed an opportunity by Jose Mourinho.

Previous reports have also suggested that there is plenty of interest from Championship clubs in Clarke, who had a season to forget last time out as he struggled for game time at Leeds and QPR.

Eccleshare claims that both players along with Harvey White, who impressed in Tottenham’s 5-0 win over Marine on Sunday could leave North London on respective temporary deals this month.

He claims that Cirkin’s attitude and application are regarded very highly by those at Tottenham and the 18-year-old is thought of as a future first-team prospect.

However, the journalist reveals that Spurs are yet to decide on whether to loan out him and White to EFL clubs this month.

He suggests that Clarke is expected to leave on a temporary deal to get some minutes under his belt with Stoke City and Millwall interested, however, Spurs are mindful of picking the right destination following the winger’s previous difficulties.

It might be a bit too early to send loan out Cirkin and White. I suspect Jose will want them to train with the first-team this season and potentially think about loaning them out next year. However, Clarke is older than both players and needs to be playing competitive football.
