Report: Spurs youngster makes Sky Sports Team of the Season

Oliver Skipp has been named in Sky Sports’ Championship Team of the Year on the back of his excellent displays on loan at Norwich.

Norwich have had an outstanding campaign, managing to bounce straight back up after their relegation from the top flight last campaign.

With his consistent displays at the base of the Canaries midfield, Skipp has had a huge part to play in the club’s march to the Championship title.

The Tottenham youngster was voted Norwich’s third-best player over the course of the campaign, behind the Championship Player of the Season, Emiliano Buendia and club captain Grant Hanley, which demonstrates how highly he was rated by the Carrow Road faithful.

Even though EFL’s Team of the Year features as many as four Norwich players, Skipp found himself missing out on the eleven.

However, Sky Sports certainly did not overlook the impact the 20-year-old had on Daniel Farke’s side, naming him in their Team of the Season.
