Report: Spurs youngster seeks loan away after being ‘crushed’ by Pochettino

It has been an eventful time within the goalkeeping ranks at Tottenham Hotspur so far this season, with a lot of chopping and changing in the squad.

Hugo Lloris started the season as the number one between the sticks, as he has been for a number of years, but picked up a nasty injury against Brighton.

With the Spurs and France captain expected out until the new year, Paulo Gazzaniga stepped up to the plate as the new first choice.

Tottenham then decided to re-sign Michel Vorm just months after his contract had ended in North London to come back and fill that number two spot.

Brandon Austin was then promoted to the new third choice at the club, leaving young Alfie Whiteman way down the pecking order.

When Lloris is back, Whiteman will be the fifth choice at Spurs, something he is said to have been left ‘crushed’ by.

Football Insider claim he now seeks a loan move away to ignite his career.
