Report: Spurs youngster wants loan move – Clubs in Turkey, Holland, and Germany interested

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Oliver Skipp, reportedly wants to go out on loan in January after a severe lack of opportunities this season.

It isn’t the Mourinho effect that has restricted Skipp either, as he was often overlooked by Mauricio Pochettino too, the man who brought him into the first-team.

The 19-year-old has only played six times for Spurs this season, three of those coming in the Premier League. In fact, he has only played a combined ten minutes in the league (TransferMarkt).

Compare this to last season when Skipp played 22 matches in all competitions, and eight games in the Premier League that covered 216 minutes (TransferMarkt).

David Ornstein from The Athletic has now claimed that the teenager is looking for a loan move in January, with interest from clubs in Turkey, Germany, and Holland.

However, the player is said to be keen to stay in England, especially with it being a relatively short-term loan deal until the end of the season.
