Report: Star player starting to regret leaving Tottenham for his new club

Tottenham Hotspur had somewhat of a busy January transfer window this year, as they looked to sign up a trio of new players for head coach Jose Mourinho.

The Lilywhites signed Steven Bergwijn on a deal from PSV, Gedson Fernandes on an 18-month loan from Benfica, and Giovani Lo Celso on a permanent deal from Real Betis after a six-month loan period.

However, Tottenham were not without their major outgoings, as Christian Eriksen departed North London after seven seasons with the club, heading to Inter Milan.

Inter were right in contention for the Italian league title at that time, but have since dropped back in the field a little to third, nine points behind the lead.

To make matters even worse, some reports have even claimed that the Serie A season may not be concluded due to the spread of the coronavirus (BBC).

Having said that, play-offs to decided the title winner have been suggested as an option.

El Desmarque have now reported that Christian Eriksen is having doubts about his move from Spurs to Inter Milan. The Great Dane apparently rejected a move to Real Madrid in order to move to Serie A, something he may now be having regrets over.
