Report: Striker is said to want Spurs move after being impressed by deal offered

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked to countless strikers in the media ever since Harry Kane was hit with his nasty injury against Southampton back on the first day of January.

Kane ruptured the tendon in his left hamstring and needed subsequent surgery to correct the issue, with Spurs expecting a return to training in early April.

Sky Sports reported earlier today that Tottenham and AC Milan were in talks about a deal for centre-forward Krzysztof Piatek this month before the window shuts (Transfer Centre at 14:44 on 28/01/20).

However, it claimed that Milan wanted a permanent transfer, while Spurs were more interested in an 18-month loan spell.

GOAL have now reported that Piatek wants a move to North London with Tottenham after he was left impressed by the offer they tabled to him.

It is said that while terms between AC and Spurs have not yet been agreed, an agreement with Piatek should not be a problem in the move.

GOAL add that Milan want to strike a £25m deal with an obligation to buy in six months. Spurs want a higher loan fee to remove the obligation and replace it with an option to buy.
