Report: Striker linked with Spurs is said to prefer Liverpool move

Highly-rated FC Nordsjaelland player Mohammed Kudus, who is reported to be on Tottenham Hotspur’s radar prefers a move to Liverpool in the summer, according to a report by Calcio Mercato.

The striker has shot to the limelight with his performances in the Danish league this season.

The versatile 19-year-old has been a converted from a midfielder to a forward this season and has impressed in his new role.

The youngster has struck ten goals in 23 games in all competitions this campaign (transfermarkt.com).

Tottenham are said to be among a whole host of European clubs including the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Rennes, Marseille, Fenerbahce and Inter Milan, that are said to be competing for the teenager’s signature (Foot Mercato).

Calcio Mercato now reveals that Sampdoria are also interested in Kudus and have already begun discussions with Nordsjaelland over signing the striker.

However, the report claims that the Ghanian international prefers a move to Liverpool, even though the Reds are yet to initiate any formal approach for the youngster.

Reports do seem to indicate that we will likely go after up and coming talents over established stars in the summer. There are potentially some great deals to be had in countries like Denmark, Holland and Belgium where clubs would be desperate for a cash influx.

However, one would presume that Kudus needs to move to a midtable club in the Bundesliga or Ligue 1 and impress before getting a big move to a top-six Premier League side.
