Report: Striker linked with Spurs tempted by reunion with former team-mate in North London

Real Betis striker Loren Moron is said to be tempted to make the switch to Tottenham Hotspur this summer,.

Spanish news outlet Estadio Deportivo report that the striker who played alongside Giovani Lo Celso at Betis last season is keen on joining the Argentine at Spurs.

La Razon claimed earlier this month that Jose Mourinho is an admirer of Moron and is keen on bringing him to North London after the club’s pursuit of Real Sociedad Willian Jose failed in January.

The report suggested that Tottenham had to improve on Napoli’s €40 million bid for the striker to bring him to the Premier League.

However, Estadio Deportivo claim that Betis are expected to cash in on the 26-year-old this summer.

Moron, has netted eleven goals in all competitions for Betis so far this campaign (transfermakt), is said to be open to a move to Spurs as well as Napoli in the summer.

Spurs Web Opinion

We are likely going to be linked with every striker that becomes available in the summer, just like we were in January. Our main consideration has to be in ensuring that the striker we bring in gives us something different than Harry Kane does. I expect Jose to bring in a centre forward of the mould of Llorente, who is good in the air and can help hold the ball up.
