Report: Striker will decide between the likes of Spurs, Man Utd, and AC Milan

Gazzetta dello Sport have claimed that Serhou Guirassy is ready to leave Stuttgart in January but is yet to make a final decision between Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and AC Milan.

Earlier this week, The Sun reported that Guirassy, who has a £15m release clause in his contract at Stuttgart, prefers moving to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium over Old Trafford in January.

However, reports over the last few days have insisted that AC Milan have not given up on the 27-year-old and have spoken to his representatives, but the striker’s salary demands of £3.5m per season could be a problem for the Serie A club (Calciomercato).

Guirassy will decide between Spurs and others

Gazzetta have now shed more light on Milan’s pursuit of Guirassy and on the centre-forward’s future.

The outlet indicates that the Guinea international will not be at the MHPArena on February 1 as he has made up his mind to leave the Bundesliga club.

The report says that Milan, Spurs, Man Utd and several other clubs are continuing to circle over the striker, who will make a final decision based on which side offers him the best project and salary.

The publication adds that Milan has been ‘trying for weeks’ to sign the player and still believe that they have a chance, even though they are competing with powerful Premier League sides.

Spurs Web Opinion

It is quite curious that publications keep naming Spurs when it comes to the race for Guirassy’s signature, even though it has been reported by several reliable sources that Postecoglou wants to sign a versatile forward, who can play on the flanks, rather than a traditional number nine.
