Report suggests a strange swap deal for Spurs and Inter Milan this summer

InterLive suggest that Tottenham could offer Radu Dragusin to Inter Milan in a swap deal for Kristjan Asllani this summer, just five months after signing the defender.

Tottenham are linked with Kristjan Asllani

Tottenham have been no strangers to the Italian market in recent years, largely down to the expertise of Fabio Paratici. In fact, they even signed Dragusin himself from Serie A side, Genoa.

It appears the Lilywhites may be casting their eye across Italy once again this summer, and Inter Milan’s Kristjan Asllani is a player they are interested in.

Asllani is reportedly gaining the attention of a number of clubs across Europe, but Tottenham are standing out amongst the crowd.

Radu Dragusin and Kristjan Asllani swap deal?

InterLive admit that Asllani is happy at the San Siro and Inter Milan would want between €35m and €40m to part ways with him this summer. However, a swap deal could bring that price down completely.

The report suggests that Daniel Levy could use Radu Dragusin to secure a transfer for Asllani, despite Tottenham only signing the Romanian from Genoa back in January.

Dragusin has looked mightily impressive for Romania at the European Championships so far this summer, starring and earning a clean sheet in the 3-0 opening match win over Ukraine.

Spurs Web Opinion:

What a daft claim. There is no way Tottenham are parting ways with Dragusin this summer.

He is exactly the type of player Spurs needed and wanted to come in and offer competition and cover to Cristian Romero on the right side of defence. Dragusin will get a whole load of minutes next season.
