Report: Summer Spurs signing set for second loan spell

Tottenham Hotspur summer signing Jack Clarke is being tipped for a second loan spell if the season.

The Athletic report that Spurs are expected to recall the winger in January.
Clarke become Tottenham’s first signing of the summer when he joined the Champions League finalists from Leeds United and was immediately sent back on loan to the Elland Road outfit.
The 19-year-old has struggled for first time football under Marcelo Bielsa and has instead found himself featuring more frequently for the club’s Under-23 side.
The report claims that Spurs will look to send Clarke back out for a further loan spell at a Championship club, with the North London side seeking assurances that he will actually get the opportunity to play regularly.
Clarke’s involvement as Leeds has also been impacted due to EFL rules which stipulate that a side can only name five loan players in their match day squad, with Clarke often being the sixth loanee and the one who misses out.
