Report: Super agent is now getting involved in potential Tottenham transfer

According to the print edition of L’Equipe (as relayed by Sport Witness), super agent, Pini Zahavi, is now trying to broker Harry Kane’s move to Paris Saint-Germain.

While German sources continue to be confident that Bayern Munich will win the race for Kane (Florian Plettenberg), it appears PSG are not giving up on their pursuit of the Tottenham man.

Relevo journalist Matteo Moretto claimed two days ago that the Parisians had restarted contact with Tottenham over Kane’s availability.

The Telegraph also reported on Monday that PSG are keen on signing the England captain but it was asserted that the striker preferred a move to Allianz Arena over Parc des Princes.

PSG continue to push for Harry Kane

L’Equipe have now claimed that the first meeting PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi had with Kane’s entourage dates back to June.

It is asserted that Al-Khelaifi has stayed in touch with Daniel Levy, with whom he has a ‘more than a cordial relationship’, with the two said to talk quite frequently.

The report adds that Kane’s name was brought up in the pair’s recent exchange, even though formal negotiations were not started.

The publication adds that Pini Zahavi is now trying to ‘make Levy understand’ that it is in his ‘best interest’ to sell the 29-year-old to PSG.

If the decision was solely up to Levy, I am sure that the Spurs chairman would prefer to sell Kane to PSG, who are likely to pay a higher fee than Bayern.

However, the striker is in a powerful position, given his contract situation, and it is evident that he wants to move to Bayern.
