Report: Supercomputer claims Tottenham are set to win first Premier League title

A supercomputer has predicted that Tottenham Hotspur will win their first league title in almost 60 years this season, according to The Express.

Spurs were looked at as outsiders for the top four at the start of the season but eight games into the campaign, the North Londoners find themselves second in the table, just a point off Leicester City in top spot.

The supercomputer predicted the final Premier League league table based on various metrics so far this season, and it has backed the Lilywhites to finish in the top spot.

However, before Spurs fans get carried away, the predicted final table is not very realistic, with Liverpool and Manchester City being backed to finish in seventh and eighth position respectively.

The top four is rounded off by Leicester, Chelsea and Aston Villa, with Arsenal predicted to finish in the lower half of the table.

Jose Mourinho and his men will be hoping that such a prediction is not as far-fetched as it may seem.
