Report: Supercomputer predicts where Tottenham will finish this season

A supercomputer at MyBettingSites (as relayed by Football.London) has predicted that Tottenham Hotspur will fall short of a top-four finish this season.

Tottenham produced a solid performance against West Ham United to emerge 2-0 winners on Sunday, with the result being much-needed for the Lilywhites after back-to-back losses against Leicester City and AC Milan.

The result saw Spurs leapfrog Newcastle United into fourth place after the Magpies fell to a 2-0 loss at home to Liverpool on Saturday.

It seems like Antonio Conte’s men are once again set to battle it out for Champions League qualification right until the very end, just as they did last season.

However, according to MyBettingSites’ supercomputer, Tottenham will miss out on a top-four finish this time, with the system predicting that the North Londoners will finish in sixth place.

Interestingly, the supercomputer predicts that Liverpool will snatch fourth place while Eddie Howe’s men are backed to finish one place ahead of Spurs.

Here is the supercomputer’s predicted 2022/23 Premier League table:

1. Manchester City
2. Arsenal
3. Manchester United
4. Liverpool
5. Newcastle United
6. Tottenham Hotspur
7. Brighton
8. Chelsea
9. Fulham
10. Brentford
11. Aston Villa
12. Leicester City
13. Crystal Palace
14. West Ham
15. Wolves
16. Nottingham Forest
17. Everton
18. Leeds United
19. Southampton
20. Bournemouth

Spurs Web Opinion

I always expected Newcastle to fall away in the latter part of the season and there have been signs over recent weeks that the wheels are starting to come off for the Magpies.

I have no doubts that Liverpool will be our main competitors for fourth place, with the Reds currently sitting seven points below Spurs with two games in hand.
