Report: Talks open between Pochettino intermediary and European giant

Tottenham Hotspur will be desperate to hang onto their best players this summer, as well as adding some new faces to their ranks, however, perhaps the most important man to keep at the club is manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Over the last week, Pochettino has been heavily linked with a move to Italian giants Juventus (Independent), after it was revealed Allegri would leave his post at the end of the season.

This comes after Pochettino has secured a Champions League final and top four Premier League spot, all without spending a penny on transfers for the past 15 months.

There has been another twist in the story today, as Tutto Mercato Web claim that talks have been held between an intermediary representing Poch and Juventus.

The report suggests that Base Soccer agency agent Frank Trimboli met with Juve sporting director Fabio Paratici in Milan to discuss Pochettino’s future.

Spurs Web Opinion:

I have never known another club to have endure so many manager transfer rumours in the space of a couple of years. It seems as if Tottenham don’t have a moment’s break between reports Poch will leave them for Madrid, Man United, Juve, PSG, or any other vacant manager position in the world of football. I can’t see Pochettino leaving this summer, or for a couple of years for that matter. I expect Levy to hand Poch some money this summer to play with, and fingers crossed he can take the club to the next level.
