Tottenham Hotspur are fearful that they may have to accept a cut price offer for Christian Eriksen in the coming days.
The European transfer window closes on September 2nd and with the Dane’s contract expiring next summer, Spurs run the risk of the playmaker leaving on a free transfer at the end of the current campaign.
The Daily Star claim that Daniel Levy has placed a £50million valuation on the Dane, but the price could drop to £30million if the likes of Real Madrid decide to register a firm interest.
Eriksen is third in line on Madrid’s shopping list with the Spanish giants instead looking to proritise a deal for either PSG’s Neymar or Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.
If Madrid decide to look elsewhere, there is also said to be a chance that their city rivals Atletico Madrid could look to raid Spurs for the second time this summer after already completing a deal for Kieran Trippier.
