Report: The six clubs who are interested in signing Christian Eriksen in January

A report from CalcioMercato has provided an update on the future of former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen ahead of the January transfer window.

Reports previously suggested that the former Tottenham midfielder, who has failed to get a consistent run in Antonio Conte’s side, could be set for a shock move to Arsenal (ESPN).

EuroSport reported earlier this week that another of Tottenham’s London rivals, West Ham United, could also try and offer the Dane a route back to the Premier League next month.

CalcioMercato have now revealed that it is all but inevitable that the 28-year-old will leave Inter in January, just twelve months after joining the club from Spurs.

The report claims that the midfielder was thought of as a good market opportunity by the Nerazzurri last January but that Antonio Conte was not particularly keen on bringing him to the San Siro.

The report does mention Arsenal as one of the clubs interested in Eriksen’s signature and names five other potential destinations for the midfielder including Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Juventus.
