Report: The three demands Conte has allegedly made of PSG – Including £25.3m salary

RMC Sport have claimed that Antonio Conte has told Paris Saint-Germain several conditions have to be met in order for him to take over as the club’s next manager.

Le Parisien were the first to report this week that Conte is on PSG’s radar as a potential replacement for Mauricio Pochettino, with the publication suggesting the Italian has offered himself to the Ligue 1 giants on a two-year contract.

However, this has subsequently been dismissed by several other outlets, including 90min, who have claimed that Tottenham are confident Conte will still be at the club next season.

Meanwhile, Alasdair Gold has said (YouTube channel – starting at 55:06) that those in the Spurs boss’ camp have denied the news, while Fabrizio Romano has also stated (Here We Go Podcast) that the speculation is not coming from Conte’s camp.

Gold also acknowledged in his video that it would come as no surprise for Conte’s camp to deny the rumours whether they were true or false though.

RMC Sport have now claimed that the Tottenham head coach is indeed interested in the position at PSG. Conte is also said to have informed the French club that he wants many of their current players to leave.

It is explained that Conte has demanded a salary of €30m (£25.3m) per year to take over from Pochettino, which would make him one of the highest-paid managers in the world.

The Italian would allegedly also like for the Ligue 1 club to appoint a sporting director of his choice since he wants full control over transfers.

Spurs Web Opinion

It is clear at this point that this speculation is coming from sources inside PSG rather than those to Conte or from Spurs. One cannot dismiss the speculation completely out of hand, especially given the level of detail that is presented. Usually, with this amount of smoke, there is usually a fire somewhere.
