Report: There is a ‘belief’ Pochettino could still be tempted into Spurs return

The Express have reported there is a belief that Mauricio Pochettino could still be tempted into a Tottenham return, despite currently managing at PSG.

The Argentine was sacked by Daniel Levy and co in November 2019, before being replaced by Jose Mourinho.

Since then, Tottenham have struggled under the Special One, sacked him, given Ryan Mason the interim job, hired Nuno Espirito Santo, and continue to struggle.

However, The Express claim that, just as Nuno is under pressure in North London after yet another 3-0 defeat to Man United, Pochettino is also ‘coming under fire’ at PSG.

Pochettino has admitted in the past that he would like to return to Tottenham one day in the future as he feels he has unfinished business at the club.

The former Spurs head coach was also linked with a return to North London in the summer, although he ended up remaining at the Parc des Princes.

Spurs Web Opinion:

I fully expect Pochettino to be back at Tottenham within the next two years. It looks as though his time will be limited at PSG and Levy definitely has one eye on his former friend, with Nuno just being a stop gap.
