According to French publication Foot Mercato, Thimothee Lo-Tutala is being targeted by a number of clubs after he was released by Spurs this month.
Lo-Tutala played in nine Premier League 2 games for Spurs last season, keeping five clean sheets and only conceding six goals (TransferMarkt).
The 19-year-old has also gained praise for performances for France at youth level, having racked up 11 appearances for their Under-19s.
However, the Frenchman was released from Spurs along with fellow youth goalkeepers Josh Oluwayemi and Isak Solberg. Pierluigi Gollini’s loan from Atalanta was also terminated, meaning Spurs had a major clear-out between the sticks (Football.London).
Foot Mercato now claim that Lo-Tutala has a number of offers on the table from English clubs who are hoping to sign the youngster on a free transfer this summer.
However, Lo-Tutala may prefer a move to another European destination and with offers said to have arrived from both Spain and Italy, the talented keeper is a hot commodity this summer.
Spurs Web Opinion
Many fans were shocked to see Spurs let Lo-Tutala leave this summer as he is very highly-rated by those who follow the academy closely.
With whispers that Lo-Tutala could eventually replace captain Hugo Lloris at both club and international level, Spurs will be hoping that they are not made to regret the decision.
