Report: Three Championship sides submit loan offers for Spurs’ Troy Parrott

Sunderland, Middlesbrough and QPR have each submitted a bid to sign Tottenham striker Troy Parrott on loan, according to The Northern Echo.

The trio are set to battle it out for Parrott, 20, with Spurs head coach Antonio Conte ready to allow him to leave the club for the upcoming campaign.

The report adds a decision will lie at the door of the Republic of Ireland international with his priority remaining on gaining as much first-team action as possible next term.

Parrott spent last season on loan at MK Dons where he enjoyed a productive year as the club reached the League One play-offs.

Scoring 10 goals across all competitions (Transfermarkt), he returned to parent club Spurs over the summer and was included in Conte’s squad for the pre-season tour of South Korea.

Parrott could use another loan move to build on his strong season last time out and a step up to the Championship looks ideal for him.

Ultimately, the decision will come down to him as the interested clubs are in different parts of the country, but he needs to make sure he chooses a club where he thinks he will have the most game time.
