Report: Three clubs are fighting it out to sign Tottenham defender this summer

A report from Spanish publication and radio show, Cadena SER has claimed that Valencia are interested in signing Juan Foyth from Tottenham this summer.

In a meeting at the club earlier this week, Foyth was reportedly one of the names put on the table as a possible target for the next three weeks of the transfer window.

Foyth has seen himself fall down the pecking order in North London of late, despite the exit of the experience Jan Vertonghen this summer.

The likes of Toby Alderweireld, Eric Dier, Davinson Sanchez, Japhet Tanganga, Ben Davies, and Cameron Carter-Vickers are all still at the club.

Foyth apparently ticks a number of boxes for Valencia, but they are aware of his demand this summer, with Tottenham having reportedly received proposals from both Leeds United and Villarreal.

However, it is Valencia’s intention to convince Foyth that he could come on loan to Spain for the 2020/21 season in search of minutes, as a permanent sale is ‘impossible’.
