Report: Three clubs ‘ready to pay’ full salary to secure Ndombele loan from Spurs

Paris Saint-Germain, Everton and Valencia are all willing to take on Tanguy Ndombele’s full salary to secure a loan deal from Tottenham ahead of next week’s transfer deadline, according to Foot Mercato.

Ndombele has been made available for an exit from Tottenham this month having fallen down the pecking order under Antonio Conte (Sky Sports).

The Athletic revealed this week that Spurs had entered talks with PSG over a potential loan move this month, with Mauricio Pochettino keen to be reunited with the midfielder in the French capital.

Spurs are said to be keen on securing a permanent sale of the 25-year-old by including an option to buy clause in a potential deal with the Ligue 1 leaders (Evening Standard).

Valencia have also emerged as potential suitors to take Ndombele on loan (Telefoot), while Everton have been the latest club to show an interest in the out-of-favour Spurs man (Sky Sports).

Foot Mercato now claims that all three clubs are ready to take on the burden of Ndombele’s full weekly wage packet in order to see a possible move materialise in the coming days.

However, the report explains that Ndombele continues to view PSG as a destination of priority ahead of the deadline.

It is added that PSG chief Leonardo Araujo has offered up several players to tempt Spurs into agreeing to a deal, including the likes of Julian Draxler, Danilo Pereira, Leandro Paredes and Ander Herrera.

Ndombele seems to be gathering plenty of interest now with a few days until the transfer deadline. If these clubs are willing to take on Ndombele’s full wages, then Spurs shouldn’t waste time dawdling on what to do next. But they also need to think about whether they would be keen to sign him permanently too.
