Report: Three different clubs are now vying for Serge Aurier’s signature this summer

The Guardian have reported that it is now a three-horse race to secure the signature of Serge Aurier from Tottenham this summer.

It is claimed that if Tottenham sign Matt Doherty from Wolverhampton Wanderers, it could pave the way for an Aurier exit.

AC Milan, Bayer Leverkusen, and Monaco are all now said to be interested in signing the Ivory Coast right-back before the end of the summer window.

Tuttosport reported earlier this month that Spurs are looking to get around £20.5m for the former PSG man this window, although AC Milan only want to spend £14.5m.

Sky Sports also reported yesterday that Milan has submitted a formal opening bid for Aurier, but Tottenham had rejected such an approach.

None of the above three sources have reported that Leverkusen or Monaco have made any kind of bid as of yet.

Serge Aurier played an impressive 42 games for Tottenham last season, a career-best for the defender (Wikipedia).
