Report: Three English sides interested in Tottenham player in January

Tottenham youngster, on loan at Leeds United, Jack Clarke, has failed to earn sufficient time on the pitch after his loan back to his boyhood club at the start of the season.

Now Spurs are reportedly set to activate the mid-season clause in Jack Clarke’s loan deal for the upcoming transfer window, according to Football Insider. 

Marco Bielsa is also resigned to losing the 19-year-old as Championship clubs queue to sign the academy product on loan in January.

Derby County and Middlesborough are both in the running to sign Jack Clarke, alongside Fulham.

Spurs signed Leeds United academy product in the summer after impressing in the 18/19 Championship season, playing in 22 games for Leeds (TransferMarkt).

However, the youngster has failed to make any progression this season due to no significant time on the pitch. He has only made three appearances for Leeds United, two of which came in the League Cup (TransferMarkt).

Jack Clarke has really struggled for game time under Marco Bielsa. Spurs have the opportunity to recall the youngster in January and they should take it. At this age, he needs nothing but regular football to increase his knowledge of the game, confidence, and experience. Recall him and loan him back to another side.
