Report: Three European heavyweights interested in signing Spurs academy starlet

It has been quite the year for young Troy Parrott in the Tottenham academy system. The young Irishman had a stellar season last year, which caught the eye of senior manager, Mauricio Pochettino.

As a result, Parrott was invited along on the pre-season tour of Asia and was handed a healthy number of minutes considering he is still only 17-years-old.

Parrott looked at home alongside the likes of Harry Kane and Heung Min Son, and up against top-class defences like Real Madrid, Inter, and Juve.

More recently, Parrott was called up to the Republic of Ireland U21 squad for the first time, scoring his first goal on his debut against Bulgaria.

Parrott then came off the bench against Sweden with his side 1-0 down and masterminded a comeback with two goals in an eventual 3-1 win.

The Daily Mail now report that Juventus, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich are all interested in the starlet.

Spurs Web Opinion:

No. Spurs must keep this lad at all costs. He is the crown jewel of the academy and destined for big things in the first-team.
