Report: Three PL rivals scouted Spurs-linked target during international break

The Sun have revealed that Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool could enter the race to sign Red Bull Salzburg midfielder, Oscar Gloukh, who was mooted as a target for Tottenham during the summer.

Gloukh has won several admirers since completing a £6m switch from Maccabi Tel Aviv to Salzburg back in January, and the attacking midfielder has made another strong start to the new season with four-goal contributions in eight matches so far.

The youngster was one of the standout performers in the European Under-21 Championship held in the summer and it was reported by The Guardian in July that he was in Tottenham’s sights.

The report added that the Israeli starlet was also attracting interest from Spain as well as Salzburg’s sister club, RB Leipzig.

Premier League heavyweights watching Gloukh

The Sun have now claimed United, Liverpool and Arsenal sent scouts to watch the teenager during the international break, with the player finding the back of the net in Israel’s 1-1 draw with Romania.

The report suggests that the three English giants could thus join the queue of teams vying for Gloukh’s signature during the January transfer window.

I wonder if the presence of Manor Solomon at Spurs could give us an advantage over other suitors in the race for Gloukh’s signature. Perhaps the winger would put in a good word or two to his international teammate about the club and playing under Ange Postecoglou.
