Report: Three Spurs players who featured against Chelsea could be sold this summer

The Telegraph have revealed that Richarlison, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and even Yves Bissouma could be on their way out of Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

Tottenham’s poor displays over the last couple of months have shown that the Lilywhites still have a long way to go if they harbour ambitions of competing with the best sides in the Premier League.

That is something Ange Postecoglou himself has spoken candidly about, with the Spurs boss insisting after the loss against Chelsea that big changes need to be made to the squad and that the club need players who would be better fits for his system (BBC Sport).

Big sales planned for Tottenham this summer

The Telegraph have now suggested that Tottenham will not just offload some of the fringe players but also ones who have played a prominent role this season.

It is revealed that Spurs are prepared to cash in on both Richarlison and Hojbjerg this summer as they aim to make big changes to the spine of the side.

The publication adds that while the club will not put up Yves Bissouma for sale, they would have a decision to make if they receive an ‘attractive bid’ for the midfielder.

While Bissouma can be press-resistant at his best, he simply does not have the spatial awareness, passing range or vision to be our starting number six in Postecoglou’s system. However, I would expect the Australian to keep the Mali international around as a squad player.
